St. Louis Rams: Justin Blackmon Arrested for DUI, Did the Rams Get Lucky?

The Justin Blackmon is in trouble with the law, again. According to Doug Farrar of Yahoo!, Blackmon was arrested early Sunday on charges of aggravated DUI in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Blackmon is seen as a logical choice for the St. Louis Rams in 2012 NFL Draft. Some mock drafts have the Rams was the sixth overall pick Blackmon. It makes sense, because Blackmon is a productive receiver at Oklahoma State, and the Rams really wanted to find a target for the quarterback Sam Bradford in the elite.

The imitation of the Jacksonville Jaguars also made it on the eve of the draft plan, as they traded up to fifth place overall and designed Blackmon. The Rams, who do not appreciate one of the other receiver enough to take them by selecting No.. 6, traded back to No. 14 overall and is designed to overcome the LSU defensive Brockers Michael.

Still need help with wide receiver Brian Quick Rams selected from the Appalachian State at the top of the second round (No. 33 overall). Quickly seen as a lower chance of some, but it was pleasant surprise so far in training camp Rams'.

Rapidly in size and superior athleticism, combined with Blackmon arrest, a Rams' fans are happy with the way things turned out?

I knew when I saw the headline about that arrest Blackmon, the fact that the Rams almost answered him and instead consists of Quick Brown first thought that my mind already.

At the same time, I hope Janoris Jenkins saw what happened to Blackmon and keep walking a straight line.

Blackmon was arrested earlier on suspicion of DUI offenses in Texas in 2010 after officers caught speeding on the highway suburban Dallas.

He told reporters after his arrest that he made a mistake and take full responsibility for it.

"I was humiliated in this position," said Blackmon. "I am very sorry for my family, friends and Oklahoma State together. I hope to redeem myself and prove to everyone that it was not me. I'm not this person. I was amazed by this experience and I grew from it. "

Blackman did not address any of the cost of jail time, which prosecutors described as a fine-only offense.

The Jaguars traded up to select in April Blackmon.

"He's got his strengths," said new coach Mike Mularkey earlier this year. "He was one of those people who do not think he could be covered. That position is quite important in such conviction, you can line up and dare someone to try to stop you and believe you can. I want that edge. "Undo edits suntinganUndoUndo edits
