Hopefully the information presented so far has been applicable. You might also want to consider the following:
Two football teams will clash in the much awaited Sugar Bowl 2011. Also known as All State Sugar Bowl 2011, Ohio State Buckeyes from the Big Ten Conference will face rival Arkansas Razorbacks from Southeastern Conference in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana today, January 4, 2011. The game marks the first ever meeting on the football field between the schools and is scheduled for a 8:30 p.m. (ET) kickoff.
Looking at the two football teams, Ohio State has more experience in the BCS bowl games as compared to Arkansas. This will be a new experience for the team of Jim Tressel of the Buckeyes as most of them haven’t been there before saying: “Eighty percent of our team hasn’t been there before and they know they’re going against a great football team. Anytime you get to match up two teams in the top 10 you get excited about that opportunity.”
Sugar Bowl 2011 Ohio State Buckeyes and Arkansas Razorbcks Face Off
This will be an exciting football game tonight as it presents two great contenders for the Manning Award – Ohio State’s Terrelle Pryor and Arkansas’ Ryan Mallett. “It’s going to be a fun game. It’s two great teams. Obviously, I had the traditional rivalry hatred (at Michigan). I’ve still got a little Michigan in me from that. I’ve never really been a big fan (of Ohio State),” Mallett said.
The match up between the two great quarter backs almost didn’t happen after the suspension of Pryor last December 23 together with four other football players in his team for selling championship rings, jerseys and awards, and receiving improper benefits from a tattoo parlor. Pryor was the star player of the Ohio State Buckeyes after posting a 22-3 record as the team’s full-time starter the last two seasons leading them to victory in 17 of their last 18 games including a five-game winning streak to end the 2010 regular season.
For the team of Ohio State, they have to watch out for Arkansas football players such as Mallett for the passing, Davis for the rushing and Wright for the receiving. Meanwhile, for the team of Arkansas, the Buckeyes’ leaders that they need to watch out for are Pryor for the passing, Herron for the rushing, and Sanzenbacher for the receiving.
Who do you think will win this game? Will it be the more experienced Ohio State or the novice Arkansas? Catch the game live at ESPN.
